Abstract: 

Approximately 185,000 passengers were bumped from U.S. domestic carriers for the quarter ending June 30, 2006. What if you are involuntarily bumped from an important appointment with a client or the IRS? Here are your rights under federal law and the compensation you are entitlted to if your flight is cancelled or you are denied a seat.
