Abstract: 

Lending institutions must understand new and evolving environmental risks, such as global climate change, not contemplated only a few years ago. Environmental liability risks can be costly, yet potentially avoidable, by ensuring that environmental risk management is integrated into an institution’s prudent lending practices.
