Abstract: 

Regulation may be needed to standardize the levels and extent of internet financial reporting in the Middle East. Despite the growing use of the internet as a medium for the dissemination of corporate information in other regions and countries of the world, many companies in Oman and Bahrain either do not have a corporate website, or are not using their website to disseminate such information.
