Abstract:
Treasury has stated an intention to broadly examine the compensation strategies of financial institutions beyond that of the top senior executives and to develop a model of compensation policies for the future in order to create long-term executive pay reform. The various executive compensation restrictions are geared to limiting the type of compensation received by certain executives, limiting the amount of compensation, and limiting severance payments. Keywords: Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008
