Abstract:
This article examines a study that focused on the relative effects of both marijuana and alcohol on adolescents. The results of the study suggest that early cannabis use can lead to memory impairment and strong adverse social effects. As marijuana use becomes more accepted, we should pay special attention to the specific adverse outcomes among adolescents.Keywords: marijuana, alcohol, adolescent substance abuse, cannabis, memory impairment, adverse social effects
