Abstract: 

This regular column presents short reviews of a wide range of subject matter, giving readers signposts about future directions of research related to teen behavior in an interdisciplinary framework. Topics covered in this issue include school-based anti-gang programs for youth and the effects of poverty on academic success and the benefits of reducing high concentrations of poverty for lifelong achievement.
