Abstract: 

The author reviews recently published material addressing (1) the effects of bullying--in particular differences between traditional bullying and cyberbullying—on adolescent academic performance, depression, and substance abuse; (2) the current literature on the objectives of prevention programs for intimate partner violence (observed or experienced), the success of such programs, and the applicability of such programs for homeless youth; and (3) the rates of sexting by teens, as well as the psychological effects of sexting on youth at various ages with wide-ranging dispositions toward risk-taking.
