Abstract:
While it is hard to find universal agreement on almost any aspect of education, there is one area where parents and educators seem to agree overwhelmingly: on the positive role restorative mediation can play in mitigating the harmful impact of aggression and bullying by allowing participants to engage in a way that is real and personal.Keywords: Social and emotional learning; education standards; restorative practices; teen behavior; self-confidence; active listening; negotiating conflict
