Abstract: 

This regular column covers a wide range of subject matter about research related to teen behavior, emerging strategies and techniques for monitoring or coping with behavioral problems, and the growing appreciation for interdisciplinary perspectives—including items on health, neuroscience, nutrition, technology, economics, demographics, and trends in family structures, among other areas of intersection. These “short takes” are designed to provide useful information to educators, counselors, and other professionals who work with teens.
