This column summarizes and discusses recent cases involving application of the Hague Convention, including: Gonzalez v. Gutierrez, 311 F.3d 942 (9th Cir. 2002); Silverman v. Silverman, 312 F.3d 914 (8th Cir. 2002); and Velez v. Mitsak, 89 S.W.3d 73, 89 S.W.3d 84 (Tex. Ct.
