Abstract:
While the South Asian antiviolence movement continues, this book adds its voice in debating new issues, and gives us much material to reflect on in our everyday lives both as anti-violence activists, as well as interested readers. “The Body Evidence”, edited by Shamita Das Dasgupta (Rutgers University Press, 2007, 336 pages), is a snapshot of domestic violence in the South Asian community.
