Walter S. DeKeseredy and Martin D. Schwartz have written “Dangerous Exits: Escaping Abusive Relationships in Rural America”, the first study of rural battered women who were raped by their intimate partners. This article summarizes that report: causes, risk factors, SA facilitators.
