Abstract:
The United Nations’ second joint global research brief on the gender-related killings of women and girls, “Gender-Related Killings of Women and Girls,” finds that global Femicide and Feminicide rates reached their highest levels in twenty years in 2022. This article reviews the main findings of the report, which focuses on female victims of intimate partner and family-related homicide based on data available for 105 countries or territories.Keywords: Gender-Related Killings of Women and Girls
