Abstract:
This article looks at the special case of older adults and stalking. Older adults are also victims of stalking, but the problem can be compounded with the elderly because theOlder adults are also victims of stalking, but the problem can be compounded with the elderly because they are more likely than younger victims to experience a fear of retaliation when reporting crimes, are least likely to be aided by family and friends, and are less likely to access sources of support.Keywords: Working with older adult victims of stalking; Older Americans Act (OAA)
