Abstract:
Our regular review of significant cases includes a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order affirmed for a woman alleging that her husband forced her on numerous occasions to have sex against her will for continued financial support, a California woman seeks a restraining order after the termination of a five year relationship turns physical, A virginia man continues to pursue his ex-fiance\' resulting in a protective order based on stalking, a mother\'s order is vacated in Arkansas when an insufficient evidence of abuse can be proven against the father, in Maine the ex-wife prevails in vacating a stalking order filed her ex-husband\'s current girlfriend, an Ohio woman petitions for Civil Stalking Protective Order (CSPO), alleging her ex-boyfriend had engaged in conduct constituting menacing by stalking, a New York family court grants a petition in a relationship between two 13 year-olds, and also in New York an expired order is reversed and remanded.Keywords: Boykai v.
