Abstract: 

This column reviews three law review articles on the bread and butter issues facing battered women as they negotiate for their daily needs and those of their children. Included are: “Buying Time for Survivors of Domestic Violence: A Proposal for Implementing an Exception to Welfare Time Limits”, by Jennifer M. Mason; “Housing and Domestic Abuse Victims: Three Proposals for Reform in Minnesota”, by Ethan Breneman Lauer; and “Self-Sufficiency and Safety: Welfare Reform for Victims of Domestic Violence”, by Maria L.
