Abstract: 

This Washington Report column provides information about the activities of the 111 th Congress and federal agencies from August 15, 2010, through December 15, 2010. The Elder Justice Act (EJA) was enacted and signed into law (P.L. 111-148) by President Obama on March 23, 2010, as part of the health-care reform bill (H.R. 3590), known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act .\\Also summarizes status of recently-discussed bills.
