Abstract:

The present study looks at inhalant use among juvenile offenders and how it influences delinquency. Multiple models show that young inhalant users are more likely than other types of drug users to commit every type of drug-related crime (according to the authors’ typology). Implications for treatment planning for this special group are provided, which combat the specific risks that these youth face.
