Abstract:

The study reported on here used a quantifiable instrument to measure the quality of three residential substance abuse treatment programs (RSATs) over a period of three years. We report the study results, which show how program integrity can increase or decrease over time, and discuss the reasons behind the progression or regression of program integrity. Results show that RSAT programs have relatively effective results that rest on strong theoretical foundations.
