Abstract:

This piece details an update of a 1994 Doble Research Associates study that looked into public favorability and perceptions of Vermont’s correctional system. The piece, which looks at reparative boards and correctional systems more generally, concludes that there is a “disconnect” between public perceptions and actual practice that must be cleared up to allow for more healthy criminal justice discussions.
