Abstract:
This issue of “From the Courts” Reviews Williams v. Ozmint, 11-6940 (4th Cir. May 15, 2013), where an inmate was kept in disciplinary confinement for two months and had his visitation privileges suspended for two years after he was suspected of receiving contraband even though no contraband was ever found on his person. The inmate appealed this punitive action restricting his visitation privileges, but did not win the case as inmates have no constitutional right to visitation. Keywords: visitation
