Abstract: 

The complete issue includes all of the articles listed in the contents above plus briefer treatments of cell front “treatment” (Robertson v. Deputy Commissioner, 2019 (N.D. Ind); extended penal isolation (Hamner v. Burls, 937 F.3d 1171); penal isolation in Connecticut prison found unconstitutional (Reynolds v. Arnone, 402 F. Supp. 3 (D. Conn., 2019)); a prisoner’s pro se complaint of miserable treatment is dismissed but nevertheless instructive (Watkins v. Martin, 2020 WL 64189); and a Jail Suicide case (Loya v. Salt Lake Co., 2008 WL 11511413 (D. Utah)) in which the court finds no duty of reception staff to search for prior suicide attempts.
