Abstract:

A pyschologist who has testified over 200 times in state and federal court speaks to the issue of mitigation against the death penalty in the case of a defendant found guilty of carjacking resulting in death. While mitigation testimony from experts may be given a long leash this time the limits are pushed beyond the snapping point when Dr. Cunningham’s testimony has little to do with the Defendant but rather was about the federal Bureau of Prisons.
