GHSA Adopts New Distracted, Impaired Driving Policy

Abstract:
Distracted driving, as any driver can tell you, is a growing problem. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 9% of all drivers are using a handheld cellphone while driving at any given daylight moment. In 2010, more than 3,000 persons were killed in a crash involving a distracted driver.Keywords: enforcing bans, drug driving statutes, standard protocols
