Abstract:
Several organizations conduct national surveys on substance use. Survey researchers can estimate national levels of drug use from relatively small probability samples (1,000 to 25,000 individuals). These surveys are based on selfreport information from respondents whose answers are confidential and anonymous. This article shows results of various surveys taken in school and face-to-face environments.Keywords: Monitoring the Future (MTF) survey; MDMA (ecstasy); The Office of National Drug Control Policy; The National Parents Resource Institute for Drug Education (PRIDE); The National Household Survey on Drug Abuse;
