Abstract:
This fall, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAA) released a study of alcohol consumption per capita in each state throughout the U.S. in 2007. NIAA gathered data on alcohol sales, divided it by each state’s population, and then broke down those results in terms of consumption of beer, wine, and spirits. Keywords: Most Sober; Drunkest States; amount purchased; Alcohol by Volume, Alcohol by Weight; Proof
