Abstract:
Florida has a law designed to protect certain classes of individuals, such as underage minors and habitual alcoholics, from the harmful effects of alcoholic beverages by making it illegal for purveyors and alcohol servers to sell them alcoholic beverages. This article attempts to identify characteristic behaviors of “on-premises” bar patrons who should not be served alcohol because they are likely to be “habitual alcoholics.”Keywords: J. of Alcohol & Drug Educ.; Pennsylvania;
