Abstract: 

This article looks at applied research findings on drunk driving, the cultural views of public drinking for youth in Italy, drunk driving and child deaths, the “Alcohol Without Liquid” (AWOL) machine, the controversy over whether celebrities get better medical service, a treaty in which Mexican and US drug intelligence is shared, a new Federal Highway bill, Diana Ross’s drunk driving arrest, GM and Ford’s shared base platforms, a new drug initiative in the southwest region of the U.S, Washington legislature against students involved in criminal acts, a case that could limit search and seizure at traffic stops, the British “Queen Mary 2”, drunk students at Fountain Day at the State University at Albany, New York, gas prices’ effects on SUV sales, and a tragedy at a 21st Birthday party.
