Abstract: 

Discussed: Pilot fatigue and improving airline safety, the extent of dog-owner’s liability in car accident, Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, facilitating unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle by loaning a vehicle without an ignition-interlock device to a person required to use one, sterilization as a bargaining chip in plea negotiations, increasing patrols in high crime “hot spots”: problem or solution?; airbag inflators made with a propellant that can degrade over time leading to ruptures, and the value of self-driving cars beyond simply convenience.
