Impaired Driving Update

Abstract: 

Two recent surveys show show that although alcohol use by drivers has declined, impairment due to illicit and prescription drug use has increased. As a result, a review of past efforts, a plan for the future, and execution of effective enforcement strategies and tactics are needed to continue fighting— and perhaps one day eliminate—all impaired driving, as well as continuing to highlight the importance of combating drunk driving.
