Abstract: 

This installment of Legislative Update will continue coverage of 2014 enactments in the areas of distracted, impaired, and aggressive driving and the progress of the federal bills that are currently on our radar. Discussed: the Lurid Act, repeat offender and open container criteria, withholding of highway funds from states that did not pass ignition interlock installation requirements, aggravated reckless driving, distracted and impaired driving legislation in states across the nation.
