Abstract: 

Legislation and court cases dealing with school issues involving a student’s lawsuit after being raped (assaulted student fails to make case under Title IX), a confederate flag sparking a lawsuit against Gettysburg College (college sued for displaying confederate flag at Civil War exhibit), a court’s ruling that no special relationship existed between school and student (university ruled to be merely a landlord).
