Abstract:

This is the second of a multipart article drawing attention to students with disabilities. As more and more students present to us with disabilities, the critical issue of accommodations becomes ever more pressing and complicated. This article is intended to help student affairs practitioners navigate the complex requirements of the ADA while doing what is best for students and hopefully for the college/university community as well.
