Abstract: 

As important as TB testing in a correctional facility is for infection control, a reliable tuberculin supply line continues to be problematic. The latest CDC guidance advises public health officials, clinicians, and workers in occupational health and infection control about how to adapt testing protocols to the recurrent shortage. Correctional facilities will need to address the shortages of tuberculin skin test antigens using an evidence based-prioritization process.
