Abstract: 

An inmate files suit against his assigned primary care provider alleging that the delays in diagnosing and treating the recurrence his of cancer were evidence of the doctor’s deliberate indifference to his serious medical needs in violation of the Eighth Amendment. In a similiar case a Pennsylvania state prisoner with prostate cancer alleges delay of treatment and substandard pain medication. An inmate with PTSD alleges that, when he was first transferred to another facility, he was not provided with the same level of services as he had previously received.
