Abstract: 

Nutritional management of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is often overlooked, although it can significantly influence their prognosis and overall well-being. Individuals with COPD should be evaluated by a dietitian to understand the defi ciencies of their current eating habits. The nutritional problems of COPD patients are addressed in the following sections.
