Abstract: 

Reviews appellate court decisions including two Third Circuit Court decision in cases alleging deliberate indifference in the peformance of dental surgery in New Jersey prisons and an Illinois case which upheld a prison’s right to prohibit inmates from having access to the Physician’s Desk Reference (PDR) and Complete Guide to Prescription and Non-Prescription Drugs.
