The material that follows is excerpted from Practice Guidelines for Recovery-Oriented Behavioral Health Care Connecticut, an in-depth report published by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (see source information at the end of this article for the Web address). We provide you a few of the highlights here. There is considerable ambiguity and a tangible lack of clarity about what precisely is meant by recovery in mental health.
