Abstract: 

Does a DUI/DWI defense attorney have a professional obligation to include substance abuse counseling as part of their representation of a DUI/DWI defendant? Whereas many attorneys would say no the authors believes he does and offers constructive tips and advice to work with a client dealing with both the criminal justice system and their addiction.
