Abstract:
This is the second part of a series of articles discussing DNA profiling. The first part, which appeared in the last issue of SLR, examined the use of DNA profiles in criminal justice proceedings and weighed the cost and benefits of such testing. This Part II discusses the investigative results of matching on inclusions and exclusions, the results of flawed protocols, the presentation evidence at trial, and the work of innocence panels and review commissions.Keywords:
