Abstract:
Individuals do not create foundations for the joy of keeping records. Yet in the new realm of nonprofit accountability, good records may be the foundation’s most important liability management tool. Which records should you keep and how long should you keep them? There is no easy place to find the answer, so this article is designed to create a sensible set of guidelines for every foundation office.
