Abstract: 

A number of prestigious high-level task forces have been established by state supreme courts to investigate the nature and extent of gender bias in their own court systems. This article comprehensively examines the origins of these task forces, what they found, what the research shows about how ill-informed and biased judges and custody evaluators are facilitating child abuse and child murder, and what neuroscience tells us about the biggest custody myth of them all, that domestic violence does not harm children.
