Abstract: 

In September 2023, California passed a law amending the current law related to human trafficking and three-strikes penalties. This article briefly summarizes the provisions of CA-SB 14, under which human trafficking of a minor was added to the types of serious felony that can fit the enhanced statutory punishments under the state’s Three Strikes Law.
