Abstract:

Strong researcher-practitioner partnerships help to support the processes and procedures for developing and advancing the evidence base of a particular program, policy, or intervention. This, in turn, informs change and improvement in practice, which leads to better outcomes for people and communities. This article discusses the power of these partnerships in growing the evidence base on correctional rehabilitation and the possibility of doing the same with regard to deflection.
