Abstract: 

This article identifies challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic for the social service industry and suggests ways of moving forward. From her lens as a mental health support worker, the author explores unique and dangerous consequences for vulnerable service recipients. She discusses accessible supports and ways to ensure that services remain trauma informed while adjusting to meet the virtual service demands.
