Abstract:
Philanthropy has long been used by families as a teaching tool. However, each generation approaches charitable giving fromits own perspective, creating newopportunities, and challenges, as one generation begins to engage the next generation in its philanthropic efforts. This article defines the “next” generation, explores current trends in philanthropy, and offers suggestions of how to engage the next generation to sustain the family’s philanthropic goals and legacy.Keywords:
