Abstract: 

The Center for Social Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business has announced the release of the first report from its Project on the Evolution of Nonprofits. The report, titled Managing Through Challenges: A Profile of San Francisco Bay Area Nonprofits, finds that, despite better funding than many of their counterparts in other regions, the nonprofit organizations of the San Francisco Bay Area are nevertheless facing serious challenges as they attempt to make their resources meet their charitable missions’ requirements.
