Abstract:
Advisors to high-net-worth individuals are often reluctant to raise the topic of charitable giving with their clients, despite the fact that philanthropy benefits society, the client, and even the advisor. Often, advisors believe that charitable giving is too “personal” a topic, and that their clients would be uncomfortable discussing it.
