Abstract:
In this section of the newsletter, we provide forms and other useful material that can be helpful to the family foundation advisor in dealing with clients. The contribution that follows is a memorandum to a client describing the rules applicable to his or her new foundation and providing guidelines for its operation. Although this particular memorandum is couched in terms of a corporate foundation, the bulk of the description would be suitable for any client—a sort of owner’s manual for the “owner” of a new foundation.Keywords:
