Abstract: 

Over the next 50 years, researchers have estimated that over $41 trillion will pass to charity. The ongoing trend, however, is for parents to include successive generations in their charitable plans. The following statistics published by the website futureofphilanthopy.org paint a picture of the correlation between philanthropy and the transfer of wealth to successive generations.
